Heard of the app ‘Sweatcoin’? Neither had I until a friend introduced me to it; now I use it all. the. time…

Sweatcoin is essentially an app that pays you to walk. It’s free and not to mention, super simple; for every step you take outside, the app converts these steps in to Sweatcoins which you can redeem against offers available on the app. You can also donate to charitable causes etc.

Anyway, several months ago Sweatcoin advertised they we’re going to host a meet-up with their users through an offer on the app. The cost to attend would be 150 of those hard earned Sweatcoins, but as I love attending events and I use the app everyday, I knew I just had to be there.

So, tonight I (along with around 14 others) headed to Sweatcoin’s swanky offices in Central London. Honestly, these offices are the dream! Open plan, dogs, plants, natural light and a super chilled vibe!

The main benefit of tonight was to meet the team behind the app, ask questions, give feedback and present ideas. Every member of the team is SO passionate about the app and that determination shone through the entire evening. The entire team are a friendly bunch and we’re receptive to the ideas which were tabled and the questions we asked.

The evening included sneak previews of some super secret upcoming features (sorry, lips are sealed ;) ) all I can say is, I was impressed with the features coming up; the app is definitely improving and coming up with new ways to better engage with its audience. If you love the app already, you will love it more in the coming months!

Even more exciting was the goodie bags we all received which included lots of Sweatcoin merchandise (a hat, a t-shirt and a mug). We all know how much I love merchandise!

Thankyou SO much to the Sweatcoin Team for an amazing evening of chatter, pizza, drinks and ideas! Especially to Emma, who did an incredible job of organising the event!
