Friday Time Schedule: The Dash to NYC…
When booking this trip to NYC, I was determined to fit in a Friday Night Broadway show. The only issue was I had to work a half day, whereas Matt had the day off…
The only way I could see to make this happen was to fly separately so Matt could take the luggage and check in to the hotel before I arrived. I could then fly light and meet him at the theatre.
Even so, it still wasn’t guaranteed that I’d make it in time, but I booked the tickets for Aladdin and hoped for the very best.
This, is how we pulled it off:
Date: Friday 24th Jan
5:30am (UK Time): Matt leaves for the airport with hand luggage only including my stuff!
8:30am (UK Time): Debbie starts work
8:50am (UK Time): Matts flight leaves for NYC
12:00 (UK Time): Debbie leaves the office for the airport - (Half an hour transit time on a good day!)
14:35 (UK Time): Debbie flies to NYC (Flight Time 7 hours)
16:00 (UK Time) 11:00 (NYC Time): Matt lands in NYC (This was so Matt could check in and have the day free)
22:00 (UK Time) 17:00 (NYC Time): Debbie lands in NYC
23:30 (UK Time) 18:30 (NYC Time): Debbie arrives in Manhattan
1:00 (UK Time) 20:00 (NYC Time): Aladdin on Broadway.
